Istanbul - Dubai, Sister Cities Monument - Zabeel Park, Dubai, UAE

A tribute to friendship; the Istanbul-Dubai Sister Cities Monument has been a collaboration of Municipalities of both Cities. The Municipality of Dubai has allocated one of the best locations in Zabeel Park for this artwork. The beautiful miniatures created by Arch. N.Coplan, depict the past, present and future of the cities offering the visitor a passage of colourful beauty. The production has been made with regard to the weather conditions, in particular the high temperatures of the Gulf countries during summer, the high percentage of humidity and salt in the air, change of day -night temperatures, sand storms…. Installation has been made on fair face finishing with specially produced adhesive.
