To commemorate the TURKISH YEAR; a monument sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was built on a very important land piece donated by the Municipality of Shibuya/Tokyo. A daily public passage offering a moment of tranquillity. As the İznik tiles are made from %85 quartz – a semiprecious stone, used as a ‘healing stone’ in alternative medicine – the walls can be touched by both hands to free the body from negative energy. This monument has verified that exposed to all weather conditions and human intrusion; the sturdy İznik tile does not give way to any flaws.
