Sponsored by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Municipality of Montreal; this park is a present to the Turkish community living in Montreal. The architectural arrangement was made by Ahmet Gülgönen with an inspiration from the Orhun Script Monuments of the ancient Turks. During the preparation of these tiles a pre-production evaluation was made taking the climatic conditions of Montreal in consideration and keeping the production suitable for very low temperatures in winter (-40 degrees C.) and high temperatures in summer.(+ 40 degrees C.) The tiles have withstood the weather changes in open air without any defects till now.
