With the Naval Academy's demolition in Heybeliada, a request was made to duplicate the mosaic panel made by painter Ferruh Başağa depicting the Battle of Preveza for the Maritime Museum in Besiktas. The panel prepared accordingly by applying matte glaze on 12x12 cm tiles can be easily viewed from the Beşiktaş Pier Square.
